I'm surprised that I differ so markedly with the esteemed @BigBadBurke -- with Slafkovsky, Suzuki, Caufield, Dach, Mesar, Beck, Farrell and whoever they draft with one of their two early firsts this June, I wouldn't have thought that giving up so many high-quality assets for J. T. Miller would be appealing to the Habs. I would have thought that this is an easy No for them.

Yeah, well, before they starting molesting you guys, they kept trading Demko to us for Cal Petersen, our 2023 first, and one of Quinton Byfield or Brandt Clarke "because the Kings have to dump Petersen, which will cost a first, and Demko is an elite goalie." So now you know how I felt.

Upl isn’t good. He’s best of what’s there. The Sabres aren’t going to go after demko yes. But it’s not cause Upl is a starter. It’s cause demko is so bad this year they can’t possibly justify giving prime assets for him.

For me it's a no for sure, and as someone else eluded to, if we were to trade for a top 6C it's going to be Dubois at the draft or later in the offseason

Other moving our players to rebuild, moving up in the draft, and adding players to reach the cap floor they have not made a trade in three years.
