Don't think that's the guy you want to center your 2nd line. You could get Barbashev for much less. Maybe Landeskog centers these guys idk.

In the last calendar year (from 19 Feb 22 to today) Schmaltz has 29 goals and 75 points in 74 games played on an Arizona team with no offense. He's .9 ppg this season.
Not sure how that is a Compher-esque player *shrug*

Edit: He definitely shouldn't play center on a playoff team.

I don't think Schmaltz is the answer, it's a bit like adding another JTC/E-Rod to the mix. Sure he can score (and outscore both of those guys probably) but can he really play the 2C role? There are cheaper depth alternatives to Kulikov as well to battle through until EJ returns.
