I highly doubt that Heinola, Lambert, Mcgroarty, and Lucius will be involved without an extension. If an extension is premeditated, then id be willing to give up either of mcgroarty or lucius. Not lambert tho simply because we don't know what he is yet and not heinola because we need him in the d-core long term.

I think you are forgetting at chibrikov is right after those guys in the top 5 of jets prospects and he's no slouch either. If russia was playing last WJC he would have lit it up. That being said, without an extension, these guys are as good as it gets from any team. Most teams don't even have a Mcgroarty or Lucius to give, and definitely the Canes don't. The devils have Holtz but I highly doubt they move him.

I'd much rather trade Heinola then Chisholm though they're stupidly never likely to give Chisholm a legit chance anyway.

Ultimately this isn't enough for Meier so SJ declines.

Chibrikov is a C level prospect come on now. And there’s a whole lot of we won’t trade this that and the other for a star player. If low ball offers like this is what San Jose was looking for the deal would be done already. You’re also very high on Lucius and McGroarty for being B prospects.

The fact that you think Lucius and mcgroarty are B prospects says enough. That’s a literal 13 and 17 oa pick from the last 2 years. And also guys who are more likely than others to be too 6 guys in the future. That’s the literal definition of an A prospect. Chibrikov is there, if not a step down, but I digress. If you’re not interested in their guys, you won’t be interested in anyone other than perfetti and that’s not happening. Believe it or not, no one is trading you a recent 10 oa pick who is putting up .5 pt per game in his rookie season.

So you think chibrikov is almost an A prospect with his 1 point in 29 games in the ahl? Hmm maybe let’s see what’s more likely that he’s a C prospect and the others are B prospects or your analysis of all 3 being A prospects

1 point in 29 games in the KHL. That’s pretty standard for a 20 yr old in the KHL. And he’s undersized. Not really a problem. Look at his other numbers where he’s dominating every other league in Russia. Just the KHL which he hasn’t been able to make a step to. C prospect is a fringe nhl player sometime in their career. Chibrikov’s floor is a middle 6 guy.

Did u see Lucius’s numbers in the WHL and wjc? That’s no b prospect lol

And same with mcgroarty in NCAA as a 18/19 ur old.

If u think I’ll get a top 3 Calder finalist candidate like perfetti for Meier, you’re just wrong and you’re gonna be highly disappointed.
