Haha there is no winning on this site. Best case scenario for Canucks would be a second I think. Third plus an AHL'er most likely.

Wrong. If that were the case, the deal would have already been done.

The Canucks want to resign Schenn, and he wants to stay. And his wife is due on the trade deadline, so the Canucks aren't trading him unless the motivation is there.

The ask is a first round pick from a contender. Teams like Calgary, Minnesota, Nashville, they would probably take a 2nd or one of those reclamation projects that Rutherford talked about, like Glass.

I would obviously love a 1st but realistically I think a 2nd or a 3rd with a good prospect (not elite) are more likely.
