Foegele is a dump, And the other two pieces are meh. Hawks will get better offers than this for Kane.

A first and a second alone are more than enough. CHI doesn't care about cap dumps, they'll need them to get to the cap floor.
And both prospects, while not great, are very solid

Just because cap dumps don’t affect the hawks doesn’t mean they take them for free. If you want to get rid of your bad contracts you’d need to pay. That being said I do think there would be enough in the deal for the hawks to accept but I could see there possibly being better offers

Maybe if it's a 5-6 mil multi-year contract, but a 2.75 contract for just another year is more a matter of "making the money work" than a straight up cap dump. Foegele would effectively be their like 3rd best forward after a Kane trade.

Again like I said I think that there’s enough compensation for taking on foegele’s contract but if it weren’t they would still need to pay for the hawks to take on his contract. The price probably wouldn’t be as much as a strait up cap dump trade but they wouldn’t take the contract for free especially when they can get picks
