Description

I know this deal would NEVER happen but not the worst idea I've seen on here if the cap doesn't move. I'm not a fan of moving Kane, 90+ point MVP players don't come around often but unfortunately the Hawks made some big over payments that have cost them some good talent. You know Buffalo would pay up to get him and welcome the 10,500,000 contract. This deal would instantly push Buffalo up the standings. Kane with Eichel would be a dynamic duo. Kane's won 3 cups, Hart trophy, Conn Smyth etc he'd probably wave his NMC to go home. The Hawks get Evander Kane, I know he's had his issues and has an injury history but given the opportunity to play with Toews you'd hope he really steps up his game and lives up to his potential being in a contract year. If not, it's just 1 year of him.
It give the Hawks two 1st round picks and another good prospect in Alex Nylander to start rebuilding while still being competitive.

I'm not saying this would make the Hawks better but it really helps with their cap.

I need to follow Bogosian more often to truly understand this deal. I do think Kane goes to Buffalo at some point in his career. I don't know if it will be this year, but when they truly decide it's time to rebuild...I think he goes to Buffalo.

For the offer you have made, Buffalo would 100% accept! But I think they'd have to give up more to bring in Kane and Seabrook!

Wow. No way. Taking on 17 million in salary for a long time. Too long. Id rather re-sign evander, and keep nylander and our first. Bogosian is probably a bust, hes a third pair d making 5m, but im fine keeping him and seeing what he can do with a new coach. Not sure how botterill feels, but eichel and ristolainen are probably our least likely to be moved players. So any talk of adding ristolainen would probably be a deal breaker.
