I was very iffy on the trade itself. A first is too much, but a handful of C prospects and a mid round pick is probably not enough

I'll admit he's having a down year, but if we retain half it's 2m for a 20+ goal scoring top 6 winger. Also locked into next year as well. I think if a team needs a top 6 spot filled closer to the deadline, in desperation, could end up paying a 1st.

I guess time will tell
