Little tweaks with PHI and CBJ, still room for more moves

Description
PHI trade - Philly fans, would you do this? Beaulieu is still a serviceable young Dman, you shed Read's salary, but at the cost of a younger D prospect Hagg. From MTLs perspective they take a 1 year chance with Read who could spark the offence and replenish their D prospect pool

CBJ trade - The only reason I think CBJ would trade Murray is that I don't think they will be able to afford him come this time next year, would this be a decent return? or too much? could the 1st rd pick to be a 2nd?

It's not out of the realm of possibility that CBJ trades a d-man since they have 4 good ones, and they'll likely expose one in the expansion draft.

Having said that, I'm not sure that package is enough to get Ryan Murray to MTL.

And after saying that... No way MB trades Galchenyuk for Ryan Murray.

You're just being a Hab Hater. Give it a rest. Agreed, Beaulieu is not a dominant Dman, but he's far from crap and he's developing. Even after crappy coaching from Therrien and JJ Daigneault, he's a top-4 now on half of the teams in the NHL and he's still just 24. He's at least 4 years from a Dman's prime. I'd far rather trade Emelin and let Beaulieu develop, but Habs want to keep Markov and have Sergachev, Juulsen and Jerabek coming up. They also have Lernout who will earn a long look this year. He's very solid and smart. So Beaulieu is expendable, but that's a far cry from "crap."

I suspect Habs are way too committed to their D prospects to go trade for a fully priced player like Ryan Murray, even though he's just 22, unless they feel he's the perfect partner for Weber. Markov's job this season will be to get Sergachev ready to take the torch from him. The wildcard is Jerabek, who could partner with Weber from the start or could be a late cut. I don't think anyone knows until they see him on the small ice.

Julien has just two requests for MB this summer: get him a #1 centreman; and, stickhandle the expansion without losing Shaw. The Habs were 4th in goals against this season. The D is rock steady. It's the middling offence (15th) that sucks the life out of this team.
