looked like we were close to a chychrun deal, until we weren't
is chychrun gonna get traded now that legend shea weber is in arizona to replace him?

i want arizona to get all the LTIRetired contracts

someone go wake up David Clarkson and see if he wants to sign a deal that immediately goes on LTIR for Arizona

My issue with Chychrun is Arizona was dumb enough to write a contract that sent him straight to UFA.

I’d like Chychrun for awhile if my team traded for him, not 2 years.

If the cost is simply 2 firsts or equivalent I think that is fair - only if he isn’t going to go to Florida or something 2 years later.

Players should force that LTIR does not count towards salary cap floor. They’d have a rational competition argument to hide the fact that they just want some money.

Would get a handful of them paid.

Coyotes at 18 million.

LTIR doesn’t count towards the floor, that’s why Arizona has no one on LTIR

Hes made more defensive plays than Philip Danault who is one of the leagues best shutdown C's. So how did his defense get worse when hes making more plays than one of the best shutdown C's in the NHL





And will probs finish 8th in Selke votes so yea just needs to start Pking before top 5

It was quite the underwhelming package tbh. Montreal got a 1st round pick to take on Monahan for 1 year. This is less value for an extra year. You'd think Ottawa would have to pay more to get rid of him for 2 years.

Yea but to be fair Monahan had like 2 surgeries and was coming with injury problems while Zaitsev just sucks
