no shot its blackwood, makes no sense for sjs (we are loaded up on goalies and blackwood isnt a piece of value) and if it is grier should be fired

Holtz was apparently “not part of discussed package” per Pagnotta. If not Blackwood…must be Meier or whoever is involved from third team (if there is a third team)

EDIT : Friedman said it was not a major piece. So gotta be Casey.

Great. Now it only needs Holtz, and SJ has gathered a hoard of Swedes in return for a Swiss.

Even better if they use that 1st rounder to draft Sandin-Pellikka or Stenberg.

I mean it is a lot to give up, but the Devils managed to get Meier without giving up any of their top top prospects at least. Getting Meier without having to lose Mercer, Holtz, Nemec, Casey is already a W.
