Might be 40s, but either way it's basically free. Still have Domi, McCabe, Lafferty, Kane, AA, and who knows who else, to trade. Maybe this opens the door for a Murphy trade?

Nothing at all!.... Good move to reinforce the tank. You can't have Anaheim getting the best lottery odds. Imagine getting out of the west the next 10 years if Anaheim wins the lottery:

Round 1 against Zegras, Bedard, Drysdale

Round 2 against MacKinnon, Rantanen, Makar

Round 3 against Mcdavid, Draisaitl, Bouchard/Broberg

I think this trade basically guarantees that one of McCabe or Murphy is traded. Hawks already have a ton of d prospects and wouldn’t want to hold their development up even more than it already has been
