Jordan Staal can't make $6M next year can he? He is still playing very well but I'd say $3M go to Meier from Staal to resign on his $10M qualifying offer, Pacioretty is out for the season I just have to ask why is Timo Meier not already a hurricane???

Drury is not a top prospect. Blues are offering 2 1st rounders in 2023. They easily beats this. Add Morrow and it's a different story

Full disclosure I know nothing about Carolinas prospect pool, 2 first and 2 seconds for one player I don't know if you have to add a known top prospect, all prospects have potential and none are proven essentially.

But 2 first and 2 seconds is a better offer than 2 first only

This post is mostly because of how dangerous Carolina becomes with Timo, yikes
