Description

- Love Bailey but he just isn't effective anymore, buyout was necessary

- Clutterbuck has to realize he can't play anymore if he's always gonna be getting hurt, placed on LTIR for the last year of his contract then officially retires at the end of the season

- Mayfield AAV may seem like an underpay but he really loves Long island, don't be surprised if he leaves some money on the table to stay with the Isles.

- Varlamov is now at the point in his career where he likely won't be a starter again but he is still a very solid backup, staying with the Isles and working with Sorokin definitely isn't out of the picture for him, a deal like this would be ideal, maybe he'd take a little less.
