Why would we want to trade Cal Petersen at a loss? HIs cap hit is $3.875 million if he stays in Ontario for the season, and then we can dump him for peanuts (and no draft picks) in June 2024 if he doesn't work out.

Theoretically if Petersen is that bad, why would you want him for 2+ years? Thankfully he’s not that bad and LA would never trade him at that valuation.
