Dumba is not that guy anymore, I’ll pass on getting him especially with a 1st involved

This move is a little more tic-tac-toe.

First is probably for Hartman, a guy who has proven he can score 25+ on a 1.7M contract.

lol dubas just got ROR and Acciari but as soon as Boston makes a move he's done nothing for the team? I don't think he's done but come on now. Dumba would also be a terrible idea.

Holl is better than Dumba

Seattle absolutely fleeces Toronto in that trade, he is the Leafs best bottom 6 forward. Trading him would be a huge mistake for the Leafs

I like Hartman, doubt he’s on the table, but a 1st makes sense. Still would try to avoid acquiring Dumba for really any cost tbh

As a wild fan, I would love to see Dumba go for anything, which well, is probably the same reason you wouldnt want him. I think with the cap crunch the wild are about to be in with Boldy's new contract, both Hartman and Greenway are gonna have to go next year, but I could be totally wrong. I just think as the GM if you are having to make these tough decisions on anyone who is 1.5M or more, you've gotta consider who can get you the best return, especially when they aren't a true top 6 player.

I’m sorry, Hartman? That’s a great contract for us. He’s way behind in the pecking order of players that need to go. Greenway, Goligoski, Fleury, Foligno, etc all are worse bang for buck

Foligno maybe, Goligoski and Fleury aren't going anywhere, the hope for those 2 would be retirement on the 35+ contracts, but that is questionable for both of them I feel. But yeah, Greenway is the first that has to go for sure.

Wild have no reason to trade Hartman. With the cap issues they have, having a guy who can play center or wing and has shown the ability to score 20+ goals making only 1.7 is a huge steal for them. If you were to move him, they would still have to pay someone to be on the roster in his place so even if that player is making league minimum you're only saving $1 mil which isn't worth the drop off between Hartman and a league minimum guy. Basically 0 chance Minnesota trades Hartman.
