Swap out Shaw for Steel and I like what you’ve done here!

Not gonna cut it for Schenn and Boeser. Also how is SJ getting a better return for the retention lol

I assumed Vancouvers main motivation was cap savings.

Agreed not enough unless we have a deal swinging Dumba or a super cheap contract extension he has little value to Vancouver makes more sense to leave him and try to sign him in the off-season.

And this doesn't give us any. Not trading Boeser with retention along with Schenn for scraps. Dumba has no use to us. Try a first round pick

So you think San Jose will retain 25% on Boeser for multiple years and take on greenway for a 2nd next year?

I can understand wanting more, but it does give you cap savings in the years to come.

Figured Greenway might be a nice change of scenery candidate. He isn't expensive.

Canucks can get cap savings while also not getting fleeced in a trade. Reports are saying that the Canucks can get a good return if they trade Boeser with retention. This is not a good return. Schenn himself returns a second or third round pick at least.

Interesting. I guess Wild will need to offer more in that case.
