Sabres drafting is their entire reason for success, theyre not giving up two top sixty picks in whats considered a strong draft.

I targeted your latest 2nd, and one in 2024. Gimme a break squinting with tongue out

This is pretty realistic IMO. Of course Kane is probably a 2nd and Zac Jones based on the rumors unfortunately

So since they aren’t giving up 2 top 60 picks in a strong years (early but 2024 looks shallower) it’s a maybe?

LA has no use for Athanasiou. They have more wingers than they know what to do with. The 4th round pick is more valuable to them.

Probably because it's already decided and nobody knows yet; reports are Zac Jones + a 2nd, but who knows

Because I am waiting for the rangers fans to tell me we need to pay the third team for Kanes retention too.

I don’t think they’ll move any picks from the top 60 this year. Maybe 2024 in 2024 but even then, it’ll probably be a 4th or 5th. They don’t like moving picks, it’s their best shot at adding cost controlled talent to keep the payroll down.

So the you’ll do it if we pinky promise Vegas makes the SCF this year? At that point it’s no longer too 60.

Doesn't seem like enough '25 and '26 picks in these deals after what happened today

I figure these teams are more likely to trade sooner picks. If you are on the bubble you don’t want to trade an early 2nd for a rental if things go bad and you decide to rebuild.
