Gibson won't be moved, contract is just too big and most of the teams that need him are in Canada on his NTC, I also can't imagine we'd get enough to consider it, and Dostal is not ready to be the starter. Mor elikely we hold onto Gibson another 2 seasons until the cap has jumped and the roster has largely stabilized at which point 2 seasons term and 6.4 won't hurt nearly as bad. I would also rather not see him moved though.

Klingberg, 2nd and a B-C prospect

Shattenkirk, 3rd and same prospect

Stolarz a 2-3rd pick, he's very inexpensive contract has some benefit.

Kulikov I'd rather keep around, I think for a 3RD he could fill the gap for two seasons until an internal option is ready, and he's good enough to play up if needed.

Henrique is staying until next year after the league put out a warning on picking up injured players.

I don't see any way we pick up a 1st for anything we are willing to part with at this point.

I can't see Gibby getting moved unless Buffalo bites, which I think is doubtful.

Aside from that, yeah, I'm nervous right now about what may or may not happen. That being said, I felt the same way last year when Verbeek held on to Hampus for so long, so let's just hope he's cooking.

Gibson trade is way to complicated to be moved in season. He gets moved at the draft if he does

I don't even think he does this year. Aside from him being too integral to the team (stability, building a winning culture, etc), we're going to need him to keep stealing games until the defense stabilizes, and I don't see that happening immediately.

I also think the book is already out on Dostal too, since he got called back up he's been getting beat in the same way, high over shoulder for most of his goals against. He'll need to marinate a good long while at the NHL level.

I would love to move Gibby. I think it’s in Gibby’s best interest to be traded to a contender. And I totally think he’s still very good, just hasn’t been able to show it with how horrendous our team is. That said, I don’t think another team rolls the dice on him considering his cap hit and stats. Especially since the ducks will still expect a good return

As much as I would like to see Gibson go fight for a cup, I can’t see it happening
