Don’t know much about Josh Bloom, but I know I’d sure rather have him than Stillman

Stillman can single handily lose a game

Everyone saying Adams wouldn't throw away assets on Meier or Chychrun and then he goes and throws away an asset like this. 50/50 shot this could be one of Adams worst trades in a couple years or just a foot note

It can't be that bad. Maybe stillman takes some of the bryson/clague minutes, if he can't beat them out, then he's probably the 7th d. Bloom is a nice story, would've thought a mid to late pick gets stillman, but here we are.

Bloom might not turn out to be much of anything
Seems like we had an inflated opinion on his value

Big forward took big steps, he's not going to be in the NHL next year but he's the exact thing Buffalo has none of. Was the captain for Saginaw this year has 58 pts in 59 games. I don't see why Stillman couldn't be had for a 4th

What you’re saying about Stillman makes sense

All i can say is that (for whatever reason) our scouts weren’t high on Bloom, or he wouldn’t have been traded for a depth defenseman

Plenty of guys look great in Juniors & are career AHLers

I’ve never seen much of Bloom, so I’m not gonna lose sleep over losing him
But i agree the trade seems curious

Maybe it’s as simple as Bloom is just behind so many other talented forwards we have coming that they didn’t project that he’d ever really get a shot?

Obviously idk, & I’m just speculating though

Well yeah but everyone always talks about asset management, Bloom has more value than this. I'm not upset to lose him, I'm upset they didn't do better. Stillman's nickname is the tank commander

I just dont know why when going for a defensive minded player from Vancouver, the calls about Riley Stillman and not Luke Schenn.
