Bullshit lol as a devils fan I would want shero fired if he makes this deal. Patrick Kane doesn't make us a playoff team next year or even in the next three years. Also the Twitter account this started from is some idiot trying to stir up ****. Not one verified account has reported about this. Also no way in hell he waived his NMC to join the Devils.

ICB is a very, very legit source!! He's hardly ever wrong, and knows stuff happening b4 alot of well connected guys know. He covers all sports, and IMO, he's one of the most accurate & timely internet sources there is. He's totally not stirring anything up. If I were a Devils fan, I'd be giddy at the thought of adding Patrick Kane. Your number 1 pick and McLeod you probably would hope he'd be 1/2 the player Kane is, and to get Kane, who is arguably the best scoring forward in the league, how could you ever argue at this move?? It instantly makes NJ a playoff contender and possibly much more. I hope all of this is untrue, b/c it gives me less hope for my Sabres to make the playoffs next year b/c now NJ would be another team we'd have to jump in the standings.

Perhaps a few people seem to forget that Patrick Kane holds a NMC. So, even if this deal is true, which would be a huge win for the Blackhawks (both in terms of restocking on the fly and in salary cap), I don't see him waiving his NMC to join a team who is in rebuild mode.
