Description

Gryz as a cheaper alternative to Chychrun isn't too far a stretch considering the market right now, so let's explore that.

For CGY- Not sure if Kylington's personal issues in Sweden are a deal breaker but I doubt he returns to play this year.

Very unlikely but I feel like all these moves around the league may pressure Don Sweeney into doing something stupid. Which he is apt to do.

Bjornfot is a LhD, so what is he doing in a trade for Grzelcyk?

We have extra forwards and surplus RhDs, but only one 2023 first, so I doubt that we would include it in a trade for a non-first-pairing defenseman. Grzelcyk is neither a Lindholm nor an Orlov -- in fact, that's exactly WHY the Bruins went out and got Orlov.

Los Angeles only has two LhDs under contract for next season, no one likely to make the team from Ontario, and Bjornfot is one of those two LhDs. So we won't be trading him, period. Boston might LIKE to have depth at LD, but Los Angeles HAS to have depth at LD.
