    I’m not so sure about a 1st round exit to be honest. The west is a complete wild card.

    I doubt the west is beating the east for the cup though. That’s why I’m not ok with this trade.

    Could have waited for the goaltender in the offseason. Hate the 23 1st is involved

    Frankly, this trade alone made me lose so much respect for the Kings. Quick was very likely to retire at the end of this year anyway, and he has pretty much been the guy since 2008. I get the move on paper, but for someone who has done so much for the Kings, it’s just the utmost disloyalty to send him away. Hell, they could have moved Petersen and run 3 goalies, if push came to shove, or just not made the move for Korpisalo. Cause I would much rather have Quick man the nets in the playoffs over Copley, Petersen, or Korpisalo.

    I was extremely surprised they traded quick.
