Why would the Canes pay the Leafs to get Gustafson? If they had truly wanted him, they could have cut out the middle man and gone straight to the caps.

Not for that offer he won't be, Yzerman wants a 1st+ either decent prospect or player with term. Plus our 2023 3rd isn't in play for a pending UFA and a 1st that's 2 drafts away. Detroit passes by a country mile.

Plus LeBrun has just linked Edmonton to Bertuzzi.

Lmfao in what world does Bertuzzi cost more than ROR and Tarasenko? You would think Wings fans would take a lesson from Jackets, Blackhawks and Blues fans and realize these ufas arent worth as much this year. Especially ehen so many teams have already traded 1sts
