I guess he's going to be on the 4th line when Hall and Foligno come back. Remember when people said the Bruins were a one-line team? They look pretty deep now.

Decent return for Detroit considering he would have been gone at the end of the season anyway. I feel like they would have got more if they traded him last week, but the market seems to be drying up a little.

I did get the benefit of the doubt at the time (Boston is pulling a Tampa and nobody will say anything bc it's not Toronto when their guys get hurt and go onto LTIR, their cheating but when others use LTIR on healthy players, it's genius)

Hall is seeking out a 2nd opinion on his injury, probably means he’ll be out for a while ( or he wants surgery )

Fair deal.
Looks great for Boston at first glance, but the risk is that Bertuzzi has 4 goals in 29 games.
Boston is betting they can bring him back to form, but his performance may underwhelm.

Never understood that. He is an awful Skater, and is out of position constantly. Wings fans saw 30 goals and thought he was snaggle toothed Jesus

Hall sat out against OIL/CGY over the weekend and now is on IR; there is often a delay league-wide in that transaction type.

If next years' draft is as deep as this years, and its looking like it, then Detroit is stockpiling draft picks and will have choices. I put Detroit as the winner here, what does Yzerman know about Bertuzzi that the rest of the hockey fandom is thinking regarding Bertuzzi. Um, if Yzerman is willing to give away Bertuzzi for a first and a deeper round draft pick, what is Yzerman saying about Bertuzzi?? That's to the Boston fan. If you're telling me about positive qualities, then why did Yzerman trade him for a first and a fourth?
