Go to the latest threads and you can see all the Red Wings fans comments about the cost being a 1st + Fraser Minten to the Leafs if the Leafs wanted Bertuzzi

Literally the only thing that can beat Boston now is a hot goalie. Leafs and Tampa don’t stand a chance. Sorry. I love my leafs but this is insane.

Bruins don't really have a great history of drafting amazing 1st rounders, they have never been that type of team. They have a better history of trading for players and having them perform better in their system than their previous (Hall, Ullmark, Foligno, Zacha, Lindholm, etc).

Boston: Gets a top 9 power forward. He's also capable of putting up points he scored a lot last year but hes more of a playmaker than a goal scorer, seems like he'd be A very good playoff performer based on his play style. Also scared of needles lol.

Detroit: Gets a first round pick for next year. That is top 10 lottery protected. I like this for Detroit because Boston seems like the perfect team that's gonna drop down-to-earth next year. Especially if pasta or Bergeron are gone. If the condition is it becomes a Unprotected 2025 1st round pick then there's huge potential here for Detroit.

Considering the reason Bertuzzi didn't get extended was because he wanted to get PAID, I don't see him sticking around in Boston, this is purely a rental.

Fair deal. Boston gets a top 6 winger who's a PITA to play against when healthy and Detroit gets assets for a guy they were never going to give a long term extension.
