No from Winnipeg. They have no reason to downgrade to help Toronto.

Trade makes plenty of sense for Winnipeg. They get the better player for this playoff run plus a pick.

Not saying they would do it. But the logic isn't lacking.

No the logic is completely lacking. The Jets are downgrading from a young defenseman with top 4 potential for a 7/8 replacement level D that would be a healthy scratch.

If that's your opinion of Holl I'm not sure you watch the Leafs much. But here are some analytics to show his impact. He's pretty clearly a top 4 D whose played at over a $5M value for the past three years including this year.

Just because Leaf fans want to clear his cap doesn't mean he is worthless. Assumed the Engvall and Sandin trades would have demonstrated that by now.

Fair enough, I saw some Calgary fan blog saying they should get him which is why I used them but I think a few playoff teams would want him based on his performance this year.

In reality I assume the leafs keep him and put him on PP1

He will be great on the pp but you had better be prepared to play 11 and 7 to hide him for the remainder of the game!
