what would be a fair price, if i may ask (im not sure of the value but i guess if bertuzzi is a 1st and 2nd, toffoli with no retention is probably worth the same

He’s worth at least a first and top prospect at this point. Never mind the fact Edmonton would have to pay significantly more

Toffoli has about 3× the amount of points, has a cheaper contract and an extra year. If they has the same amount of games played, Toffoli would still be at about 2× the amount of points. Toffoli is worth quite a bit more than Bertuzzi

1st, A-/B+ Prospect (maybe 3rd on top) would probably be the price. Bertuzzi is a good base, but when you factor in the extra year of control on a cheaper contract and Toffoli has been a better point scorer, I think the price should be higher than what Boston paid for Bertuzzi
