Just confused why you'd trade a guy helping your AHL team to push for playoffs? Maybe they are going to give Kisakov a bigger role?
I wanna say cap space but...they don't need that lol. Also Bjork might want to play in the NHL and Chicago can give him a spot. GM has so consider the human aspect of it
Why? Buffalo doesn't need the cap space and the player isn't good enough to make the Sabres, so he's likely going to stay in the AHL with Chicago. Why make this trade?

It’s clear Bjork wasn’t a fit in Buffalo but he a a contributor at the AHL Level. Seems odd Rochester isn’t at least getting something back. Don’t think anyone is concerned with his Cap hit is minimal. The winner of tbis trade is Bjork as maybe he’s have an NHL shot again in Chicago
