Goalies don't get that much value back in trades. I know you're paying for the Murray dump but I don't see the Preds doing that. They'll ride Saros until Wallstedt is ready.

Swap Hirvonen out for Niemelä, or drop the retention, and I think this would get it done.

Not sure how your brain malfunctioned so badly. Wallstedt is a Minnesota prospect dummy. Maybe you were trying to think of Askarov. Detroit fans are all the same 😂😂😂

I think it’s a good deal but don’t think Poile takes it. He won’t move Saros for anything short of a monster haul

I mean if we're giving Murray and offloading his contract for Saros (in a hypothetical deal like this), there's really no need for NSH to retain salary.

The money works out nicely.

Just make the roster a 23 man and you're cap compliant by playoffs.
