Thats a very good top 4 lul

McCabe and Brodie have been a very good shutdown pair in the games they have been together and Gio-Holl have worked well enough in the past.

Once Rielly gets his act together he will be back in the top 4 again moving Gio-Holl down

Yea Rielly needs to be in the top 4. We know Rielly-Brodie works, we can try McCabe-Holl as a shutdown pair then Gio-Lijlegren which we also know works

I dont see him as a top pair unless he is with someone with experience. He will probs be a 2nd pair guy which there's nothing wrong with I just dont see a first pair guy yet. Against tough forecheck teams he gets exposed and sometimes makes questionable passes or descisions. And I never said Liligren was bad defensively. Sandin mmmm u could argue here and there as away from Liligren sometimes his defensive play came into question. Like when I looked at the two Liligren took a massive step while Sandin fell behind. It sucked but it is what it is.


I am not arguing that sandin will get to Toews level but the sandin discourse reminds me of the takes from isles fans after they traded Toews . Toews was by far the best defensive defenseman on the team btw

Sandin right now is already a high end 2nd pair D, he doesn’t need experience, he can drive all the offense and he’s competent defensively as well

Standards got to be high its simple. He didnt play well against Edmonton and Keefe is basically saying to him look we got 9 guys now play to the standard and beat out the vets.

Tonight's game is important for him. Hes gonna have to show he can be a regular especially for playoffs as Tampa will take advantage of every mistake. Should hopefully rise to the challenge.


Liljegrens issue is he’s not approaching the wrong side of 30 or an overly physical defenseman

Holmberg really isnt an AHLer as hes been a nice 4th liner with potential to do more. Cap main reason he went down

But in general no ideas whose the playoff starter as both goalies can make cases.
