It's true but we have a logjam on the left side and we already have Matheson and Savard -- two local boys -- to play the mentoring role with our young defensemen

How is the logjam when you have people that aren't even guaranteed to make the team. Players like Edmundson have value in bringing cup experience and all the intangibles just isn't a guy they should move as you need some stability on the back end.
