I always love these random AF AHL deals that go down on deadline day. NYR and VAN could do this at literally any time, but for some reason they just HAD to get that business done today.

Even if Future Considerations is a 7th rounder, this is still a good deal for the Rangers. They get injury insurance for nothing.
