What's the point for AZ? Do they like Mackey that much, or just dollar spent for rest of the season is lower?...

Both Stetcher and Ritchie are expiring, so it was either Mackey or nothing (as they would leave as UFAs).

On a serious note, Calgary clearly got better and all they gave to Arizona is an RFA that's not a big lose.

Calgary gets the two players with higher trade value, so the Flames win the trade.

With that said, it's a shame that the two Ritchie brothers are not allowed to play with each other.

Stecher's a good depth add. He played pretty well for LA last year in the first round against Edmonton.

Wasn't sure when it was 1st announced, who I thought won, but Stecher looked amazing for us this season, would love to have him back
