It's extremely unlinkey the Jets throw Stanley into the deal when they are selling at a discount. They also won't help Montreal out by taking back a bad contract. Montreal can pay someone else to take their bad contract.

Habs absolutely don't have to (trade Dach) though. The market for Dubois will be very limited and as we just seen with the Chychrun deal a limited market means low price.

Dvorak, Edmundson (50% retained), FLA 1st (if it ends up being a mid round pick) should get it done... if not we wait. Trade Dvorak and Edmundson for picks, use the FLA pick to add another good prospect and sign Dubois as a UFA (or look at other options).

I wouldn't do both for PLD and our other needs mirror the Jets top pairing RHD and future starting goalie both of which the Jets are short on as well
