I would think it would take Guentzal/Dumoloulin/+ to get Trouba. No way they do it for the last pick in a draft and that awful defenseman in Maata. Plus, i think PIT would be better off avoiding Gagner

Agreed it would take more but Trouba has a bridge contract that expires in <2 years so Guentz/Dumo is a bit more than they would like to get rid of. Maatta was not good in the post season but he is still 22 and has had multiple long term injuries to deal with. When he first made the team at 19 I was so impressed with how poised he was. He has looked slower, though

**** it, they can have Dumoulin. I think he's so overrated. Personally I don't think Maatta is THAT bad. I just think he's a bad fit for Sully's system. I think he would be much better off in an ANA, LA, WPG system that isn't build around speed and trading chances and defensemen jumping into the rush.
