Out of the 4 Ahler's traded after the TDL this player is the only RFA.

Future Considerations was traded four times in three days. Give the guy a break.

On a serious note, this is likely an AHL trade. Kristians Rubins goes to Calgary's farm team, while Ottawa's farm team gets an AHL player that does NOT have an NHL contract. This happened with the Canucks this season.
