I really like the idea of targeting Henrique, but is that enough? I think you might need a better prospect than Simon.

Why trade for Henrique with a salary that and giving so much for a bottom six fw when Pens could bring back Bonino, a very good center (and probably better than Henrique), pretty much indentified with the Pens organization, on a similar or even the same salary than Henrique's?

I don't see the point of that trade and I'm sure that brings back Bonino is a better idea by far that yours.

I don't think Rutheford will make an agressive trade this offseason. But I'm sure that if he would make a trade like that, it'd be for a player who could change teams level. That's not the case.

Mason for 2M??? No way! His season was not a very good one, but he will get more than that for sure. And probably will re-sign with Cryers. They don't already sign him cause it'd leave Stolarz unprotected and they don't want to lose him on expansion draft.

And just for the record, you're more than 1M over the cap.
