Salary cap stays the same because arena food prices have to increase another 200% before the league can make that happen.

Additional Details:

It's pretty clear to everyone that McDavid just isn't ready to lead the Oilers to a championship. With Miller and Myers, the Oilers finally get two guys who have leadership quality. Myers leads the league in neck-to-body ratio, and Miller leads the league in shouts-at-teammates/60.

Edmonton retains because 2 players > 1 player.

Makar, Cale ($4,500,000 retained)

Additional Details:

With Makar's concussion history, makes sense for the Avalanche to want to get rid of him as quick as possible. OEL has a few Norris nominations, so he's a good swap for Makar.

Obviously COL retains because the injury risk the Canucks would be taking on.

Additional Details:
