As I understand it aren't you scratching Grzelcyk right now? I can't imagine him and Reilly can get you Wahlstrom, let alone Wahlstrom and a pick

I don't think NJD is against upgrading Vanecek, but goalies don't get huge returns. Especially not Ullmark who while coming off an incredible season does not have the track record. You would have to be content with like a first, or Nolan and a 3rd.

Orlov is not taking a cut on his last deal. And frankly the way he is playing, I suspect he would want Lindholm's deal at the minimum.

Eventually Bergeron will retire. But till he does luck you folks

Mercer has to be more valuable than a contender's first, no?

Way more valuable. I'm not sure what he's talking about; I would trade the 1st for Ullmark without thinking, but Mercer stays.

Both teams decline rather quickly. Very bad and lopsided trades for them.

Take out Mercer…fair.

Grizz gets a 2nd. Grizz and a dump does not get OW. Grizz without the cap dump does not get OW. The 3rd doesn’t change that.

They’re doing a full rotation. Forbort, carlo, grzelcyk, clifton all getting scratched because they have seven guys that could stake a claim as a top four NHL d man.

That offer for Mercer is hilariously low. Boston simply doesn't have the assets to pull him from NJ nor does NJ need a goalie.

NJD is waiting to hear what else you're offering because that offer doesn't land what you're asking for.
