Not alot of teams need LHD and Detroit is one. Maybe for future considerations but doesn't make sense for us to pay for Kulak.

Why do you consider Ceci a cap dump and Kulak as being worth a 3rd? You do understand that Ceci plays 1st pairing and Kulak 3rd, right? And that their cap hits are similar?

Ceci is playing like garbage this year. When he's not playing top pairing minutes, he gets better. The Nurse-Ceci pairing is atrocious at all times though. Woodcroft needs to break them up, cause it's not working anymore. As for Kulak.. I like Kulak, far more than Ceci this season. I just wanted Broberg to get full time duties next season, so Kulak gets the boot.

Columbus should definitely be interested in Kulak. They could use a veteran who can play 2LD for a year or two until Mateychuck joins the big club.

Ceci is RD, Kulak is LD.

I don't mind you trading Kulak, that's not the point. My point is that you don't seem to understand what player values are based on - and the fact that Ceci plays the 3rd hardest minutes in the entire league for just 3.25 mil makes him a value contract, not a dump. He's worth MORE than Kulak.

Just because Ceci is playing the 3rd hardest minutes in the league does not mean he's good enough to be playing those minutes, and playing hard minutes does not dictate market value. Playing well does. He's not playing well, despite the minutes. Edmonton would be lucky to trade him without taking any salary dump back.

That's a ridiculous take. Ceci's on ice SA/60 and GA/60 are similar to Kulak's despite the latter getting sheltered from the opposition's best players. That has value whether you recognize it or not.

Ceci wouldn't be a cap dump I don't think. We need RHD in Detroit so if you want to give him away for free wicked and adding the second is even better. Kulak probably works in Columbus.

Acciari is going to get more than $1M and he likes it in Toronto, he will probably end up re-signing

Case in point: in last night's game at 5v5 Ceci played

8:58 v Stützle
8:46 v Batherson
7:58 v Tkachuk
5:06 v Debrincat
4:37 v Giroux

Kulak played

1:15 v Stützle
1:39 v Batherson
1:18 v Tkachuk
2:10 v Debrincat
1:49 v Giroux

Kulak's 79% xGF% seems more impressive than Ceci's 64% on the surface, but when you consider their competition it's obvious who is the more valuable player.
