Anderson will not be a Flame for as long as he makes over 3M. Calgary absolutely can't afford him next year at anything over 1M so unless he's bought put he wont be going there any time soon.

-I doubt Montreal would both take Foegele's contract and retain 50% on Anderson for a 2nd. Oilers also don't make sense for Edmundson with Nurse, Ekholm and Kulak on the left side, they need a RD upgrade.

-Montreal values Anderson a lot more than that, Poirier and a 4th would not get them to entertain moving Anderson. Calgary also straight up can't afford Anderson.

-Duclair is more valuable than Dvorak, Florida would not do that.

Edmonton wouldn't trade Future Considerations for Edmundson, let alone a good middle-6 winger and a 2nd. They decline and it's not close.

edmundson stays put and if healthy moves at the deadline....meawhile he is really good in the room with the young def and so you just wait.... if he gets hurt again then his contract is over soon.
