I would offer two firsts for Bo Horvat’s cousin if the isles can get out of the bailey contract in a corresponding move. A Konecky-Horvat-Barzal line would be sick.

Don't the Oilers already have Nurse and Ekholm on the left side?

Firing Torts seems to be the least likely of any move the Flyers may or will make.

Torts is perfect because he will make the young players joining the team into NHL players that can play either side of the puck. He probably won't be here to see the Flyers be good but he will make them into great players that will play as a team and not separate players. I also think that he could make the rebuild move faster because of how he can grow the players.

Don't see philly retaining $11,000,000+ nor Colorado giving a 1&3

Still don't think Hayes is a stylistic fit with the Avs - he is not a speed-rush type player. Good player, bad fit.

Ekholm can play the right side.
I would gladly accept Provorov fpr Yamamoto, but I dont know how Oilers would make it cap wise.
Biy out Campbell is a way.

You absolutley wont get a 2nd for Yamamoto from washington. I promise you that.

They have Kulak under contract for 3 more years too, and Broberg needing a spot. There would be no interest in this deal from Edmonton's side.

The trade works if they take on Ceci imo,

Nurse-Ekholm
Provorov- Bouch
Broberg-Kulak

Woodcroft clearly doesn't like his Dmen playing their offside, so I don't see that happening. Defensemen are less effective on their offside, so it's not as simple as shifting Ekholm over, you have to account for the fact that he'll be less effective there too.

Besides, is Provorov worth the $3M+ extra over Ceci? And a 1st? I'm not seeing it. Ceci has played the 3rd most minutes against the leagues best players this year, and done reasonably well - better than Provorov has.
