Not good picks. His on ice value is barely 4.9m (if at all). So why does trade a second and third for him, when they spend 4.9m on a UFA or keep that money for their players.
Your trade was a good example. Who do Isles keep? 50 point Garland at 4.9m or 35 point Engvall at 2.5. The 2.4m difference is like gold to most teams. and you expect the Isles to give up a 2nd and 3rd also
