    So this is in offseason.

Seeler is probably worth a 3rd at the moment, or a 4th, you have a mid to late 3rd and a 4th in 2024, so lets say Seeler is worth just a bit less than that 3rd, so you want 3 years of retention AND Deslauriers for a bit less than a probable late 4th TWO drafts away?

Its not the 800k, its that PHI loses a retention spot for 3 yrs. Deslauriers is worth a late 3rd in 2023 or 2024 definitely, but asking for 3 years of retention makes that pick a high 3rd in 2023 at least, which you dont have. deslauriers with retention is probably BOTH those picks alone.

Ultimately it would be extremely poor choice by PHI to even consider it. Its too light from LAK.

And then throwing Petersen, who PHI dioesnt need/want for a 3rd and Grundstrom (who they also dont really need)? in? I think Petersen cost at least a late 3rd to move at the moment, but PHI isnt the place, and they have alot of winger options better than grundstrom.

PHI will have cap space so just join the two deals and make it realistic: Deslauriers at 50% and Seeler for cap dump Petersen, two 3rds and a 4th and a meh prospect, Akili Thomas?

I like your counter proposal. Good for a rebuilding team and good for a team that lacks touchness and cap space.

That would be funny if Hughes declined Xhekaj for a young 40-50 point OFD.

Kill two birds with one stone - you take PHI's cap issue and we take yours...instead of Gavrikov, PHI offers Sanheim, Deslauriers at 50%, they take Grundstrom, Petersen, kind of thing

You can't say he would do the same in MTL. It would not be funny if Xhekaj move to the Kings, do +30 points, fights like hells, and Durzi does -20 points in only 50 games.
I rather keeps Wifi! He's a hell of a player. Taller and bigger, finally a player who the Habs needs.

Why would Blake propose it then?

I can get behind that if Struble can prove to be a better suitor for stay at home and toughness grit. Durzi is a good kids too, but yeah why Blake would do that!!

Because the Kings already have Doughty and Clarke. Need a big physical dman more.
