PHI says sold, even though they dont want Garland.

You realize Ellis is done right, and probably never plays again?

I'll take players that can play over a guy that will be on LTIR until he officially retires.

No interest in Rathbone, our LD pipeline is already jam packed

Why? Do the Flyers have a shortage of overpaid wings with term? Ellis is LTIR which means he's taking up no cap space. Garland is an unnecessary commodity for the Flyers and to only get a 2019 2nd round pick in return isn't very enticing. The Flyers have middling prospects that they need to figure out as well. I'd rather they just get a draft pick and start over to keep the crop turning over.

Even if not I think he managed to build to smallest Defence core of all time with the massive Ethan Bear as the biggest Defenceman on the core

As my friend @GiggyWithGibby says, we have Pavel Mintyukov and Olen Zellweger (and then Tyler Hinds and Jackson LaCombe and possibly Ryan Johnson) on the left side, so Jack Rathbone is not on our shopping list. It's the OTHER SoCal team that might pay that price for him.

Ellis will be on LTIR for the rest of his career, and you honestly think Myers is gonna get us Soderstrom PLUS A PICK???? Also Schultz does not have a place on this team, he's a PP specialist who has defensive issues, no point having him here with Hughes on PP1 and Hronek on PP2
