Canucks decline. Garland has been much better under Tocchet, no need to trade him for pennies on the dollar.

I think Canucks will trade garland for picks. Might be better picks than this but I think they would trade him for a couple of non first rounders

I think they will probably end up holding on to him. He’s bounced back under Tocchet (4 G, 11 A, 15 PTS in 20 GP), who is a coach he has also had success under in Arizona. If they do move Garland, it will be for picks, but certainly more than two 3rds. Only scenario I could see them doing this is if they go out and make a big splash in FA and have to move Garland like CBJ did with Bjorkstrand to be cap compliant.

Well if they want to complete the revamping of the team either Boeser or Garland (and Myers) need to go. I like Garland but imo Boeser is the better player. And Garland should be moved for best pick/ pick compilation. That way we can get good 3rd line C to play between Podz and Kravstov. Hoglander can replace Garland as the skilled player on Joshua and Aman's wing.

That contract for Clifton seems excessive, especially with Alexeyev improving his game throughout the year.
