Description

I think it’s time for some line changes. Timo had a very good game tn but I don’t see any chemistry between him and Jack thus far. I’d like to see Palat get another look next to Hughes and get Meier a real look with Hischier. Although Mercer has been great next to Nico over the past month or so, I think Mercer can really jumpstart Jack again. They’ve had great chemistry in the past and I think it’s time they give it another shot to spark Jack. The Tatar-Hischier-Mercer line was good tn, but not good enough to where I wouldn’t break them up. The magic has worn off a bit with that line rn. The third line looks good to me. Tatar is a good forechecker also so he should slot in nicely next to Haula and Boqvist. The 4th line is still finding itself because McLeod has new line mates every night now. I think Lazar has been fine; about what I expected. Definitely would prefer Wood or Bastian in that 4LW over Sharangovich when one of them is healthy because Sharangovich is simply not a 4th line player

I felt like the Palat-Haula-Boqvist line worked really well

Palat-Haula-Boqvist has been good, but I feel like Tatar can fill Palat’s role well just because he’s also a good forechecker. I’m more focused on getting Jack going and I think a good puck retriever like Palat will open up some chances for Jack
