You ain’t going nowhere next year, one PLD won’t really change that, and you are all but guaranteed him in UFA following several extended years of the most obvious thirst campaign this side of John Tavares’ bedsheets.

If he pulls more of his usual BS this off-season, what’s his trade value to anyone in the league knowing he won’t sign long-term outside of Quebec? MTL has to give up a first, prob the FLA one and two high end prospects if they dont want to give up a good roster player like Barron, Dach or Guhle

Any contending team will give up a first and two prospects for even a single season of Duby

That’s a hodge podge of kind of interesting pieces but doesn’t move the needle for a very high end 2C and not giving up either a 1st round pick or high end prospect is a pipe dream.
