How about DeBrincat?

Do you want to trade Debrincat just cause he's asking for too much money? Or has he not been as good with Ottawa?

Both. However, his underlying numbers are pretty good so he should bounce back next year.

I don't think Backy will retire, but that seems like a reasonable trade for Schmaltz. I think Mantha may end up with a third team though if Washington can find somewhere else, as Arizona loses leverage without taking money back (see Chychrun).

Huge overpay on the Schmaltz deal, that is a whole lot more than DeBrincat got for a worse player. Don't hate the Bunting deal but don't love it either. Domi at 3c stinks, stay as far away from him as possible

It's an overpay because they have to eat the Mantha contract. I don't love the Bunting contract either but that's probably what he's going to ask for. I tried to base it off of The Athletic's player cards as best as possible. Also Domi's got 52 points this year, so does he really hurt as a 3C?
