If you are trying to recreate the Mrazek trade, probably need to use the Sens 2nd. As it currently sits, Boston's first rounder is like 3 picks better than the Hawks 2nd which isn't likely to have the Hawks helping out the Leafs taking a substantial contract they really don't need (cause Mrazek already fills the over paid mediocre goalie role)

Murray is loads better than Mrazek and it cost essentially nothing to get Mrazek off the books with more term. It won't cost much if anything to move Murray if the team decides to do so. However what on earth is that Mayfield signing? 2 million for him is too much.

Murray is light years better than Mrazek. If he's mediocre than Murray is often injured above average. At worse

Problem is, none of that matters in the least to the Hawks. As currently constructed, The Hawks are built to lose and lose often next season. Murray does not help that. Murray's contract is still his contract and the reason Toronto would move him is that they need the cap. The Hawks have ZERO (as in absolutely none) reason to help the Leafs out of their tight cap situation. Moving up 3 spots in the draft is only slightly more than zero. If the Hawks are adding a 4.6ish million one year cap hit for a piece that has no chance of being a part of the mix in 2-3 seasons, it will be with a 2nd+ attached to that player (....see one Zaitsev, Nikita) and further...that player will have some potential to rehab into a deadline tradeable asset with more ice time/role/oppurtunity in Chicago.

Yeah I don't see the Hawks wanting Murray either but other teams likely will have interest.
